Tong Thai Street Food is named after my grandmother. Her full name is “Tong Bai”. She is from central Thailand, Bang Pee district, Samutprakarn Province. She was the first person to teach me how to cook Thai food. The idea to start a Mobile food business came from the many compliments on my food from co-workers in Thailand and the U.S. as well as friends, monks, and family in Minnesota. I not only learned how to cook Thai food from my grandmother and my mother, I also learned how to cook standard Thai food at Bangkok Vocational School Din Deang 2.
Our mission: Serve the best authentic, fresh, and healthy Thai food to customers.
Our Motto: “Real Thai Flavor Without The Long Flight”
We also use locally grown products when available as well as products from Thailand. We do all our cooking from scratch.
Our special dishes are Pad Thai, Tom Yum Shrimp, Thai Curry , Thai Stir-fry and Thai street food ( Todmon corn, Thai noodles soup, Khaw Soi, Satay and Wonton.
