Kenny was the most genuine person anyone could know. He hired me in 1989 at LaGondola in Crystal MN. The name changed to Sweet taste of Italy when I bought the restaurant. Over the next 20 years, Kenny would always come and check on me. He was as proud as a father, until May 10th 2019 when he lost his battle to cancer. At that time, I was building a food truck with a different name. That day our truck was renamed to honor Kenny and his family.
